Elevated Thrift

Discovery Shop locations aren't your typical thrift or resale shops. High quality, gently used, and new merchandise, including collectible and vintage items, are donated by the community then curated and sold in our upscale stores. Purchases, donations of goods, and volunteers help the American Cancer Society fund advocacy, research, and patient support programs to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.

Why the Most Stylish Homes Don't Match If there's one thing trend experts know, it's this: The most memorable things are rarely made from just one ingredient. Think about your favorite dish. It's the balance of flavors that makes it special. A little sweetness. A little spice. Something familiar paired with something unexpected. Style works the same way. Yet when it comes to our homes, many of us feel pressure to choose one look and stick with it. Modern. Traditional. Vintage. Minimalist. The truth? The homes with the most character don't follow a single recipe. They tell a story. Good taste isn't about matching everything perfectly. It's about knowing how to combine pieces in a way that feels personal, collected and uniquely yours. A vintage serving bowl alongside modern dinnerware. Elegant glassware paired with everyday essentials. A statement platter that draws everyone's attention the moment it hits the table. The most inviting homes feel layered, not manufactured. They're built over time with pieces that spark joy, start conversations and create memories. That's a trend we're seeing everywhere right now. People are moving away from perfectly coordinated spaces and embracing homes that feel curated, lived in and full of personality. In other words: homes with taste.
